अक्षय दान · Akshay Dan
Give a little, every month
PSR — Personal Social Responsibility — is a fixed amount you set aside each month for social capital generation in tribal Jhabua. A small fraction of one month’s income, given every month, pays for the things a one-off gift cannot: the volunteer who keeps walking between villages, the training that runs again next year, the work that continues after everyone has gone home.
- ₹250 the smallest monthly gift
- 80G tax exemption on every contribution
- Any time to change it or stop

Once, and then it keeps going
-
Choose your amount
From ₹250 a month upwards. Most donors give ₹1,000.
-
Authorise it once
By card or UPI, which takes a minute, or by bank mandate, which your bank and NPCI register over three to four working days.
-
It repeats, quietly
The same amount each month, an 80G receipt by email, and nothing else to do. Stop or change it whenever you want.
What is PSR, or Akshay Dan?
सामाजिक पूंजी के निर्माण के लिए दिया गया दान ही अक्षय दान है । एक ऐसा दान जिसका समय के साथ प्रभाव बढ़ता ही जाता है ।
PSR is an amount you contribute every month towards social change — a small fraction of one’s monthly income. It is ‘Akshay Dan’, because the amount goes into social capital generation rather than being spent once.
A social change is taking shape in Jhabua, and everyone has a role in it. By combining our capabilities we can play a decisive part in the future course of India. Join our tribal brothers and sisters in this journey, and become a partner in the making of an Atmanirbhar and Swabhimani Bharat.
Questions donors ask
Do I have to do this every month?
No. You set it up once. After your bank completes the process, which usually takes three to four working days, the same amount reaches Shivganga every month with nothing further for you to do.
Do I get a receipt I can claim tax against?
Yes. Shivganga issues a donation receipt by email. Every contribution to Shivganga is eligible for exemption under Section 80G, which is why the form asks for your PAN and address.
Does Shivganga keep my banking details?
No. Shivganga never receives them. The details you enter go to your bank and to NPCI to authenticate you; what reaches this website is only a token that says the mandate exists. Card and UPI details are handled entirely by Razorpay, our payment gateway.
Can I stop whenever I want?
Yes. Tell Shivganga or tell your bank, and the amount is not deducted from the following month. There is no notice period and no penalty.
Why does the NPCI mandate window show a maximum of Rs 99,999?
That is the ceiling the mandate is registered for, not the amount that will be taken. Only the figure you chose is ever debited. The higher limit exists so the mandate does not have to be re-signed if you decide to give more later.
Need to stop or change it?
Tell us and it takes effect from the coming month’s cycle. You can also cancel the mandate directly with your bank.
Today, Jhabua offers us a chance to express our own ‘Parmarth’
Give once instead, or come and see the work for yourself. Donors are welcome in Jhabua, and most who visit end up giving again.
